Karissa Hilton is a commercial and privacy attorney who helps companies navigate the intersection of business, technology, and compliance. She focuses on commercial contracts, vendor relationships, data privacy, and regulatory frameworks, with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.
Prior to joining J&O, Karissa worked as Associate Counsel at Lucid Software, where she negotiated a wide range of commercial agreements, advised teams across the organization, and contributed to the company’s compliance strategy.
Karissa earned her J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Legal Studies, from Brigham Young University. She is admitted to practice in Texas and Utah.
Karissa lives in Sandy, Utah with her husband and two children. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys writing fantasy novels, painting, listening to music, and playing tabletop roleplaying games.
