Lorena Kompanian

Counsel

Lorena Kompanian is Counsel at J&O Law, where she advises startups, founders, and investors through key stages of growth, including formation, scaling, venture capital financings, and exits.

She has experience from both in-house and law firm practice— prior to joining J&O, she served as in-house counsel at Ingram Micro, a global technology distribution and services platform, and most recently practiced at Mintz Levin as a corporate associate representing emerging companies and investors in VC financings and M&A transactions.

Lorena earned her J.D./M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and her undergraduate degree from UCLA. She is admitted to practice law in California. She is based in Orange County, California, where she lives with her husband and son. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, beach days, skiing, cooking, and traveling.
